It shows as a pledge of unity. He’s just removed any of their “Trump’s not a unifier BS” that they’d throw at him.
He’s just won over folks like my inlaws, who’ve been clutching their pearls, over Trump. These nilly willy’s votes are needed, unfortunately.

That’s what I figure. He is now fully vaccinated against any attacks from the RNC/GOP.

I don’t like it, it isn’t nice, but it’s politics. I wish he didn’t do it, didn’t have to do it, but the goal is to win the freaking election, with both parties, all the media, all the pollsters, all the political pundits - 100% united against him.
