I would say that this is one of the best, if not the best of his speeches. Very measured tone, very presidential, not quite as exciting as some of his speeches, but far more substantial. I like that he read part of the report by the Border Patrol, that needs to really get out there. He should distribute that far and wide, and post it on his campaign website.

It was a great speech but here’s what the libs and GOPe like Krauthammer will hammer it before. Trump having the nerve to say NATO must pay for our help, and Japan. He really hit Japan, probably because their economy is in a hell lot better shape than ours. Japan does not give us much money and if a country attacks Japan we have to come to their defense but they don’t have to come to ours. Liberals will attack Trump for saying this because they’ll Japan does not have much in terms of firepower, but they do. They have a submarine fleet, which include Soryu-class Diesel Electric Submarines, F-15s, Guided Missile Destroyers, and a badass Japanese Special Forces Group. Don’t let anyone tell you that Japan does have a military. Of course they would need help if North Korea or China ever attacked them, but there is no reason why they couldn’t come to the aid of the US if we are attacked.
