U.S. Senator John McCain recorded a Tokyo Rose-style propaganda message that was broadcast on North Vietnamese radio in 1969. Today on TRUNEWS, host Rick Wiles shares the bombshell audio recording and has released it today on the program. Trunews acquired the audio recording in cooperation with WeSearchR.com, a new media company founded by Charles Johnson.

But many brave men didn’t cave. I would not have been one of the brave ones, I’m afraid.
Establishment could have released this at any time. McCain has always been loyal to them so they didn’t.
Why now?

Hmmm interesting question...with the election this month
They want the Senate in the hands of the Dems, just in case Trump is elected.
Yeah, I’m going to agree. McCain’s sins were after he got into politics. After the cleaned up version of the recording, the hosts go over the military code about resisting, etc., but who’s to say the VC threatened to start offing other POW’s if McCain didn’t make this recording?
As much as I can’t stand SENATOR McCain, I’m even willing to go so far as to guess that LT CMDR McCain may have saved a few lives by agreeing to do this. I don’t hold it against him.
I listened to part of the long audio and it sounds like it was accidentally found in the national archives, rather than being released voluntarily. Maybe someone else listened more thoroughly and can explain better.
Yes, but McCain never gave up the Tokyo Rose style posturing after he came home.
North Vietnam’s code name: Songbird.
“I agree a POW situation becomes a survival situation”
I certainly does not.
Anything anyone does in the military is for national security and for the good of the unit and the mission. Any code of behavior and ethics other than that is for civilians.
My dad was a WW2 POW, thankfully in Germany. That being said, McCain did get the crap beaten out of him many, many times. Maybe this was after a brutal beating and he was just trying to survive. My dad wasn’t tortured in the German POW camp, I asked him. But the Japanese camps were a very different story. Rent The Great Raid to see what the Asian WW2 camps were like. If McCain does win the Primary, I will vote for him for Senate.
"He voted against a bill that was otherwise unanimously passed that would have released sealed records that would have revealed what happened in Vietnam, presumably because those records would have confirmed his dishonorable actions."

This a@$$hole nearly sank the Forestall with his “hot start” of his A4D. His dad was in charge of Navy Personnel and always kept him out of trouble with threats to those who complained.
And now, how long before a civilian airliner gets shot down with a US manufactured weapon.
I'd leave those judgments to those who've actually been in a POW situation rather than to the arm chair heroes. As long as a POW doesn't endanger others, he should work to survive.
And doing nothing to endanger others is still a very large and difficult responsibility.
He’s had other elections, they’ve always preferred to keep it to use.
Maybe they want him to get a sympathy vote. Maybe they want to finish him off.
Beats me.
There are many former POWs who hate McCain’s guts. I’ve read that every injury he got was from the ejection. He, himself, said he wasn’t expecting it to be so violent. He’s always claimed his injuries came from torture. Again, many of his fellow POWs say different.
Personally, I don’t think he’s any better than Bergdahl. He should have committed suicide for what he did, if he had any honor or regret. Admiral Stockdale sliced his own face up so they couldn’t use him in a propaganda film.
Do you know this info is factual? Where is it from?
The ‘right’ people knew about it all along.
That was recorded by people, people with a chain of command.
Thank you. That’s what I heard multiple times when we were stationed in Europe from 1972 to 1975. A lot of VN vets and they detested him.
That's the question. Did John McCain seal records of men left behind in-order to hide evidence of dishonorable conduct as a POW, and the effect it may have had on his political career?
See the links above. Btw, those records are still sealed.
