Donald Trump shattered the previous GOP primary record by 1.4 million votes this year -- and that was with 17 candidates in the race!
Hillary Clinton received 1.5 million fewer votes this year than she did in 2008 - when she lost!
Democrats are in a panic. So leave it to the media to jump in and help their candidate. Reuters tweaked their polling methods this week to give Hillary a lead.
Reuters -Ipsos used more than 100 more Democrats in their poll to give Hillary a lead over Donald Trump. Does anyone in their right mind think DEMOCRATS will have more people voting this year than Republicans?

After a great RNC convention, Trump is leading. Polls came and said he was on a roll. DNC has their convention and it was Sanders supporters blasting Clinton supporters, screaming and hollering that that they wanted Clinton in jail. The usual suspects gave speeches, then Hitery gave one of the worst speeches in memory. Universally panned. The very next day CNN parades a Clinton paid cronie by the the name of Khan to trash Trump and call every him every vile name you can call someone. Two days later Trump gets on ABC with George Popapappapdouplus, who asked him about the crazy Muslim Clinton supporter. Trump says he doesn't know him but he was really blasting him at the DNC. Then comes the set-up from Papadopolpolus. "His wife was right beside him and didn't say anything, why do you think she didn't say anything. Trump: Well I don't know, maybe she couldn't, maybe she couldn't speak". Trump meant, and rightfully so that a lot of women in Muslim homes speak to the husbands when he gives them permission. This is absolute fact. So Trump said nothing wrong. All the liberal media, including Fox gang up on Trump saying he has disrespected the Khan family and owes them an apology. Libs have called for him to quit the campaign. Out comes CNN poll two days after the Khan character belittled Trump and called him every name in the book and one day before the Papapoplusplus interview. Clinton has picked up 13 points in one week and the RNC convention is panned, and more dislike Trump after the convention than before. Pence is depised by 3/4ths of the voters. Trump's children are despised. And it goes on today. Will it ever end. And can anyone tell me what Trumps said that was the worst thing said in the history of the world? Just wondering.

Does it matter? The fact is, it works. We can piss and moan about it all we want, but it won’t change anything.

They think this is going to keep Trump voters away, maybe? No, I think it will ensure they come out.

This post is for FR Conspiracy Nuts, a large group of which I admit to being a long term member. (And this time we are right.)
I’ve posted this image before. It is the current version of the Trump vs. Hillary Real Clear Politics Polling Average Plot.
Note what happens when Trump gets close to 44%, close to Hillary, or if Hillary starts to fall below 44%.
For those who can't read graphs I'll provide the answer:
Hillary gets a sudden bounce in several polls that are used in the RCP Average.
Coincidence? I think not. The actual truth is probably very close to a line right down the middle of this plot: 44% to 44%. Close. But given the known bias of the media/polling firms Trump is likely ahead by a point or two.

I don’t think they are overloading per se. Independents are only 12% of the sample, which hurts Trump. Democrats are 42% and Republicans are 35%. 7% is high but not an unbelievable spread.
Sundance had a great post yesterday about the differences between the white voting population which Exit polled at 72% in 2012 and the actual demographics of the country which are 77 or 79% white. Can’t remember the exact. Point is, the theory is these are the hidden Trump voters and Sundance has some very sound empirical data that Trump is going to top 70M votes. More like 73M. Turnout is the key.

Trump said something. I guess the young people in this country think that justifies electing Clinton so she can add trillions to the debt....which they will have to repay or pay the interest on for the rest of their lives.
Maybe voters are waking up to the point that Trump says things, which often turn out to be true, and Clinton will be in their pockets for the rest of their lives.
Trump should pound on that.

If things like that parade photo of Hillary behind bars continue (or grow), I don’t see how she wins. The left uses attack dogs as proxies, we must use ours as well; I don’t know how this will work out in November, but it is very hard to make Hillary likable. I don’t know anyone supporting her that isn’t paid to do so (via workfare - public employees - or outright welfare)...

Are we back to the Unskew the Polls stuff again? I thought the embarrassment of the Unskew the Polls types in 2012 would end this.

From up Canada way I am reminded of the devastating effect of a false poll years ago. It took place on the East Coast. A phoney polling company was created and three days before the polls opened it forecast a big win for a Leftist party. It worked because the undecided were said to have wanted to get in on the winning side.
The Bandwagon Effect.
I would not put it past the recent polls, knowing the panic that a Donald Trump victory would cause certain people.
To: usafa92
According to CNN exit polls self-identified Democrats were 38% of the electorate in 2012 compared to 32% GOP. That is why Romney was crushed despite beating Obama by 5% among Independents.
