Pence’s endorsement simultaneously extends an olive branch to Ryan to get aligned with trump while making Ryan look small and petty for snubbing Trump’s peace offering.
It puts enormous pressure on Ryan without making it look like Trump is twisting arms.
No one believes that except Trumpies having "don't worry, be happy" fantasies.
