Those checks and balances have been made abstruse and opaque by the very people elected to implement them as elected representatives. It is not "vigilantism" to unseat an embezzling corporate officer who continues to try to wield the authority he had when he was assumed to be doing his fiduciary duty.

That’s why I favor electing different people.
I was respondng to a post that advocated the violent overthrow of the government and hanging judges. That’s vigilantism.
That’s the communist/fascist solution.
