It's all an act.
Sports Illustrated model Hannah Ferguson revealed filming Carl's Jr. ads which are known for their steamy campaigns is not as sexy as the commercials make it out to be.
"They had a spit bucket on the side, so every time I would take a bite out of the burger, this guy would have to run over with a bucket," she told Hamptons magazine. "I ate a few bites, but most of it I put in the spit bucket."

Exactly. She was not dissing the company or their burgers, it is just how food commercials are filmed. One also has to keep in mind that the food is sometimes sitting around under hot lights for hours and or may have been made to look better by using various tricks of the trade and substances that are not necessarily edible.

In other news, water is wet and the sun sets in the west.
But it’s not good for your career when you say it out loud.
Think Professional Wrestling. Everybody knows it’s fake, but nobody will admit it.
Professional coffee and tea tasters spit out the product as well.
Land of Giants!
Dearest FRiends, I give you a drunk Orson Welles hawking Paul Masson:

My favorite line :”Muuaaahh the Frenchhhhhhshammpagnee”.
Hey, is that an Idiocracy line?
If so: awesome. A lot of people are tarded. My ex wife is tarded. She’s a pilot now.
And yet no visible nipple.
Thus: Eh, meh.
Do you have a larger version of that?
Five Guys is good, but I prefer Smashburger myself.
Though with Five Guys, rule #1 is never order a "large fries," unless you plan on feeding 12 people!

I think Five Guy's certainly gives Hardees a run for their money.
Actually, they're now the same company, or at least run by the same parent company. Check out their menus.
I do remember Hardee's back in the day. At first, they had great burgers. Then they expended their menu, and the quality of their burgers went way down. Great fried chicken, but their burgers sucked. After the "merger," they began concentrating on their burgers again, and they're not too bad now.
However, they've got AWESOME commercials. Makes liberals' heads explode!

Not guilty!
Am I on the right thread?

I had a three way the other day. Not bad.
That’s the first thing I thought of.
They killed her
Meanies
Kids picked on her being a big girl
Some of those old commercials were really cute! :-)
see my reply #26, I googled and found that they were purchased in the 1990s, lol.
Funny movie!
“When Carl was in charge Carl’s Jr burgers were the best of the big chains. They were really char-broiled and tasted that way. Now that he’s dead and gone and they are spending so much on advertising, the product is worse.”
That’s the truth.
