Lying about a person’s ability is not virtuous. I’d rather be a purveyor of truth. Exceptionalism served us much better as a nation and a people. If democracy has become synonymous with such egalitarianism, than perchance our elitist founding fathers had a point in creating a Republic.

May I assume then that you are as “elitist” as the DC crowd, since you like the term and insist on wrapping the Founding Fathers in it.

If that’s the case, then Hillary should be your candidate of choice now that Cruz is gone.

Do you really presume to know the capabilities of folks who shop at Wal-Mart or who inhabit the working and lower middle classes? Really?

Last I heard, upward mobility is one of the unique features of American Exceptionalism. A degree in higher education typically, but not always, drives economic advancement.
