The F-35 has hit another snag — this time because it is just too good Bwahaa-ha-ha… I'd like to see an unbiased competition of the F-35 vs. the F-22 in Air-Superiority and the A-10 vs. the F-35 in close-air-support. I'd bet real money that the F-22 and A-10 would blow the F-35 out of the water in their respective arenas.

I have real money and I'll take that bet. How much do you want to lose?

There is no way a 35 beats a 10 in CAS. The 25mm gun holds something like 180 rounds vs 1100+ of 30mm in the Hog.
It’s survivability will be nothing like in the class of the hog.

It has no loiter. It has very limited hardpoints.

A 35 will never be superior to a 10 or a 16 in CAS.

$300 on the A-10s and F-22s.
Being former 11B theA10 is a sure bet, and the F-222 has a big advantage over the F-35 in Air-superiority.
