It doesn’t change the fact that I’m voting for him, but the battle is over the mushy few percent that decides elections. They seem to be affected by the ebb an flow of news.

Trump didn't backpedal, nor change ANYTHING at all. It didn't take "him" to "correct the course". And not ALL, nor even most MSM have "changed" their stories, nor posted the factual truth about the Khans.
How many presidential campaigns have YOU personally worked on and I don't mean licking envelopes ( which nobody does any more, but that's how far back at the game, I go ! ) on a winning or even a losing side ? I doubt any at all.
The "mushy" STUPIDS will forget this, by the time November rolls around. Trust me, they won't remember this 2 weeks from now.
