As an aside, I watched Greta a short while ago and she was whining about how Gold Star Families should be off limits.

Really?

When Gold Star Families are trotted out by Dem operatives to smear (unfairly, I might add) an opponent, should they still be "off limits"?

There is a line, and that family went over it. They entered the political realm, so they are fair game.

Say a candidate's 20 year old kid does an interview and says, "My dad is great, he did this, and that, and I hope you vote for him." I don't think that kid is fair game. That is expected happy talk from a family member.

But a candidate's 20 year old kid says, my dad's opponent is a lyin' SOB, he wants to do starve old people, blah blah blah," that 20 year old kid just entered the political realm and is fair game to be attacked.
