Khan used the blood of his own son to lie about Trump and misrepresent his position on immigration. Our military, especially those who gave all, deserve better, including Khan’s son.
To put it simply, if we had less Islamic extremists making car bombs, or setting ambushes, or hijacking airplanes, or murdering unarmed civilians, then fewer families will have to go through what Mr. Khan and his wife are going through. And soldiers like his son could be enjoying life. Muslims are victims of Islamic extremism just as much as everybody else. In fact they often bear the brunt of the violence in places like Iraq, Syria, Yemen and elsewhere.
If somebody had restricted immigration by people with Islamic extremist views in the 1990s, Captain Khan may never have even faced combat. But our government was too interested in money from the middle east, and not serious about protecting all Americans.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the family was here legally, and thus were “properly vetted”, which is Trumps position in the first place(that legal immigrants be properly vetted). So their appearance that was intended to refute Trumps position, was simply a bogus diversion from the REAL issue.
I submit that he, not Trump needs a refresher on the US Constitution.

When Muslim lawyer Khizr Khan demanded to know if Mr. Trump had read the Constitution and held his copy up proudly, I was hoping someone would ask him the same thing since he was holding a copy that had NEVER been opened! The spine is undamaged, the cover is still glossy shiny, and the only wear and tear seems to be a folded corner from being in his pocket.
