He’s been in office 24 days, and somehow there’s already a drop in crime? Huh... You’d think you’d have to wait at least for monthly reports from each municipality... and then some time to compile and compare reports. In the US, that takes about three months and only gets done on an annual basis.

“544 drug dealers or suspects have been killed since Rodrigo Duterte was elected”

Well, right there you’ve got 544 murders in about three and a half weeks. He’d have to cut the murder rate by a third just to keep up with these murders!

They don’t really keep stats on crime in the Philippines beyond murder. The media is terrified of the guy so expect them to parrot what he wants.

Wait... there’s only 5,000 murders per year in the Philippines.

That’s about 400 per month.

This report is citing 544 murders of alleged criminals in three and a half weeks. That means that if no other murders took place, there would still be a surge of more than 50% in the number of murders!

You may be fascistic enough to approve of such murders, but in no way does that mean murders are down!

One man’s murder is another man’s self defense.
