While this is the current state of affairs, it is an extremely serious defect in American politics. The idea behind it is that a security clearance requirement for an elected office could override the voters’ choice. However, as we have just witnessed with the FBI and the Hildabeast, the government doesn’t even apply the national security laws to government appointees. Seemingly, the government doesn’t give a damn about national security anymore for select individuals and the general public that supports those privileged individuals doesn’t give a damn either. What a mess the country is in.

The only feasible solution with the presidency is to persuade the voters that a charlatan treacherous fraud like Shrillary must never be allowed in that position. Unfortunately, we’ve already endured 8 years of Clinton and 8 years of Obama presidencies, so public standards and expectations are seriously lowered.
