re: the night of the Benghazi attacks

Panetta deserves massive blame for the lack of response, he was the freakin’ Secy of Defense and right in the chain of command from the White House.

In trying to prop up Shrillary he continues to try to cover up his own shameless malfeasance. The call came, and neither Shrillary nor Panetta nor Obama “had the backs” of all our people in Benghazi.

Obama has claimed that he ordered forces to be deployed, and Panetta has NEVER been forced to explain whether Obama really gave that order (thus Panetta or someone the chain ignored it), or is it Obama that is lying? Or possibly some combination, i.e., Obama may well have given a more ambiguous “order” but in any case Panetta was Secy of Defense and failed utterly to ensure that necessary forces were deployed.

As has rarely been pointed out, it was not only 4 lives that were being sacrificed, for we very nearly lost close to 40 ppl and only the heroic measures by a small number on the scene prevented the much bigger bloodbath that Hillary, Panetta, and Obama had allowed.

Panetta should NOT have been getting a pass all this time.

I think Gowdy said Panetta was less than truthful in his testimony. He is a weasel. Maybe someday we’ll find out, as Gowdy says, one wheel was not put in motion headed toward Benghazi. We shouldn’t have to wait though. Outrageous that anyone associated with making any decisions on that night is a candidate for the presidency.

My guess is Obama gave an ambiguous order but a follow up had to be confirmed and he was unavailable for the rest of the night. Kind of like the time Clinton was on the golf course and refused to take the call requesting to take out Bin Laden
