Hugh Hewitt has many problems. One is that he is wrong about mostly everything he predicts, which is to say, he doesn't know much about politics. Two, he has about a 45 minute program which he repeats three more times to kill off the whole three hour time slot. Three he is a slap happy interviewer, and four, thinks he is far more clever than he really is.
Rapidly becoming unlistenable.
“Rapidly becoming unlistenable.” An understatement. Why do you think his time slot has been stolen by others—(Mark Levin)—and he has been forced into a new one at the bottom of the barrel. Stopped listening long ago, when he was “bearable.”
Thank you. Couldn't have articulated it any better. We got Hugh in the upstate of SC when Bill Bennett "retired." I find Hugh obnoxious in as you stated, he is wrong with nearly every prediction he makes, therefore, he ought to shut-up and stop making them. For example, he went on and on that we were headed to a contested convention, he repeated over and over, ad nauseum, the delegate count Cruz was going to win and Trump was going to win, yada, yada, yada. None of it happened-not one bit of it happened as he predicted.
And like you stated, he repeats the same thing 3-4 times per hour, playing the same clips over and over, repeating the same point, again ad nauseum. Finally, and again in addition to the slap-happy interview style, I'm so sick of hearing about Relief Factor! Sheesh! Wish Bill hadn't given up his show. Also would so love to get Laura in our market.
