UN Warns Climate Change Will Soon Make It "Too Hot to Work" (Holy Horse Crap, Batman!)
The New American ^ | 7/27/2016 | Joe Wolverton, II

Better get your overtime in while you can because the UN says it will soon be “too hot to work.”

Research funded by the United Nations contains warnings that by 2030 climate change will cause temperatures to soar so high that “global economies” will be impacted financially to the tune of $2 trillion.

“Heat stress,” as one UN health official calls it, will force workers — especially those in developing countries — to cut back on their work hours.

This climate-induced unemployment will cause drastic reductions in gross domestic product (GDP) around the world, including a nearly .5 percent dip in the United States. The Pacific island nation of Tuvalu will be hit the worst by the warming workplace, losing approximately 25 percent of its GDP, according to the UN’s data.

China and India will be hit hard by the heat, too, however. A study conducted by the Health and Environment International Trust predicts a one-percent drop in China’s GDP and over a four-percent slide in India’s economy.

There are those leaders in the developing world, however, who recognize the climate-change warnings for what they are: the UN’s attempts to control their people.

As reported by The New American:

The new president of the Philippines, firebrand Rodrigo Duterte, blasted the controversial United Nations “climate” regime and vowed to ignore its restrictions on his nation. Now there is a full-blown global campaign to beat him into submission. Duterte's explosive statements this week vowing not to honor what he called the UN's “stupid” emissions demands, which he said were designed to “stifle us,” sparked major concerns among pro-UN types around the world that other governments might follow the island nation's lead. Those concerns about a mass “Clexit” — national exits from the UN “climate” scheme — are probably justified.

That’s not the only justification.

Continuing its six-decade-long practice of predicting (inaccurately) the weather and its effect on mankind, the UN-sponsored paper published by the Asia-Pacific Journal of Public Health reports that while “extreme heat in Southeast Asia already curbs annual working hours by 15 to 20 percent … that figure could double by 2050 as climate change progresses.”

But Southeast Asia isn’t the only area where workers are going to choose to starve rather than work in the heat.

According to Tord Kjellstrom, a director at the Health and Environment International Trust, “we’ll see reduced speed of work and more rest in labor-intensive industries.”

Kjellstrom isn’t just warning about the heat, however. It seems some countries in Europe will be too cold to work: “Russia, Norway and Sweden may see productivity dip as a result of colder weather in winter,” Bloomberg reports in a synopsis of the UN’s latest studies.

Basically, then, everybody’s going to stop working either because it’s too hot or too cold.

What happens when everybody stops working? Government will have to shoulder the burden of supporting those people who have been forced to flee their jobs because rich countries failed to limit greenhouse emissions.

In that scenario, then, government becomes the sole source of sustenance for the laborers of the world, thus becoming dependent upon government for everything from birth to education to work to death.

Perhaps this is the ultimate aim in all the climate-change Chicken Little chatter coming out of the United Nations.

Predictably, there is a sustainability (read: Agenda 21/2030) angle to all of this hot/cold climate catastrophe “research.” “We need to think more carefully about patterns of urban development,” said Anthony Capon, a professor at the UN university in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This is the argot of the paid promoters of the UN’s plan to establish a “parliament of humanity,” known formerly as Agenda 21, but currently going by the alias Agenda 2030.

The New American’s Alex Newman is an expert on this plank in the UN’s platform for global domination and he describes some of the particulars of this international power grab:

In brief, it is a comprehensive plan to govern virtually every element of human existence, comprised of 17 “Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals” with 169 specific “targets.” The scheme dovetails nicely with the deeply controversial UN Agenda 21, even including much of the same rhetoric and agenda. But it’s even bigger than that.

“This Agenda is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity,” reads the preamble. “All countries and all stakeholders, acting in collaborative partnership, will implement this plan.”

Among the many elements of the plan is an undisguised demand for national socialism — and even global socialism. Goal 10 calls on the UN, national governments, and every person on Earth to “reduce inequality within and among countries.” That, the agreement continues, will “only be possible if wealth is shared and income inequality is addressed.”

But national socialism to “combat inequality” domestically is not enough, with the Agenda calling for international socialism to battle inequality even “among” countries.

Socialist rhetoric is found throughout the scheme. “By 2030, ensure that all men and women, in particular the poor and the vulnerable, have equal rights to economic resources,” the document demands. “We commit to making fundamental changes in the way that our societies produce and consume goods and services.” In short, what remains of free markets must go, with wealth redistribution and central technocratic planning of the economy to take its place.

Education is another key component of the global agenda, with an entire goal dedicated to ensuring that young people everywhere are indoctrinated into supporting the plan and its overseers. “By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity.” Euphemisms such as “sustainable lifestyles” (read: getting by with less), “gender equality” (read: the LGBT agenda), and “global citizenship” should telegraph to the discerning reader the UN’s interest in indoctrination in the name of education.

Of course, a plan as grandiose as Agenda 2030 won’t be cheap — it will all cost trillions of dollars. One official propagandist for the agenda, Thomson Reuters Foundation editor-in-chief Belinda Goldsmith, cited unnamed “experts” putting the price tag as high as $172.5 trillion. For perspective, that is more than 10 times more than the annual economic output of the United States. Western taxpayers will be the primary financiers of the scheme.

So, the climate change will cost the world $2 trillion in lost man hours, but fixing it will cost almost 90 times that amount!

With those figures in mind — all of which were provided by the UN or its mouthpieces — it would seem that preventing a loss of money is not at all at the heart of the UN’s climate-change chicanery, and warnings of mass unemployment due to extreme heat or extreme cold is not keeping the globocrats in Geneva and New York City up at night.

Rather, they will use any and all means of propaganda, and they remain consumed with furthering the goal of the United Nations — a goal that is the same as it has ever been: reduce the countries of the world to administrative subunits of a global government — a government possessed of all legislative, executive, and judicial power and one whose every dictate is enforced by battalions of “peacekeepers.”

Too hot to work, but never too hot to pay your taxes!

**stacking hay in the barn loft at 14 years old?**

I’ve done that in the Ozarks! The day would be HOT, work loading the hay on a trailer, then stack it in a barn loft.

Next day do it again, and the hay in the barn will begin to ferment and heat up if not completely dry and make it hotter!

The old farmer we worked for SOLD hay to others by the bale, so he made the bales light, around 45 pounds.

When he baled for himself we hauled bales weighing 75-90 lb!

We were paid the same, light or heavy bale.

Then there was the truckers who hauled in Colorado alfalfa. They baled it wet as they sold it by weight. We would unload those bales, and they would be HOT! You could actually see the steam and vapor as you unloaded the truck. I often wondered if any ever caught fire on him.

The “olden days” were not all that good.

Good news then. We don’t need to raise the minimum wage.

I’ve been here about 20 years. Coincidentally, my next-door neighbor (lady) is a retired school principle. It’s blazing right now, but 8-9 months of great weather/year is a decent trade :)

Excellent write-up. Glad to know their new alias. The momentous irony is that we pay for the shackles, thinking we are promoting “democracy” around the world. Unelected bureaucrats such as are quoted in this article are the reason, down through centuries and millennia, for the invention of the most painful means of torture, well-deserved.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

Naw, that Ice Age gimmick was promulgated in the 1960’s. Then, of course, we had the ozone layer thingy, where if you sprayed underarm deodorant the propellant would rise through the roof of your house and magically descend to the atmosphere and punch a hole in the ozone layer and you’d get fried. The government edicted a refrigerant change at least three times in your compressors because that, too added to the size of the hole in the ozone layer.

Now something newer had to be foisted: Global Warming. Everything we were doing here was causing the temperatures to drastically rise all over the world causing oceans to boil and rise, cause more hurricanes and tornadoes and cause violent snowstorms, tornadoes, earthquakes, computer glitzes, power outages, babies to remain bald, and so many dire things that one slept only briefly at night.

There always has to be a new way to get the New World Order in swing. With a Hillary-cain in the White Hut newer ways to put us all in poverty (except that 1%) and, in general, makes our lives a nightmare.
