Welcome everyone! If you are here from the media, there is a post right next to this one for you. Please read it. CENTIPEDES,
Today is the long awaited day and in about an hour and half from now our next President, Mr. Donald J. Trump will be posting his thread for you to all ask him questions. The mod team wanted to give a short-notice heads-up on how this is going to work: Mr. Trump will be posting from his own account an AMA thread at 6:30ET. It will be stickied immediately. Once the thread is stickied it will be put in contest mode allowing all questions an equal chance of getting voted to the top. Mr. Trump is a busy man, so we want to save him time. At 7PM, the thread will go into "best" mode and Mr. Trump will answer the questions he'd like to get into. Once Mr. Trump has answered his last question, we will lock the thread and open a post-AMA discussion thread. This is to prevent shills for messing up the thread. WE'RE R/THE_DONALD. OUR PLACE, OUR RULES.
We would remind everyone, including media here that we are not a part of the campaign, but we love our community and we will take all measures necessary to protect it. Yes, we will ban troublemakers Yes, we will remove trolling comments Yes, we mean it when we say we'll throw anyone over our walls who fails to behave themselves Finally: the next President of the United States is coming today. Can you guys believe it? MAGA!

I’d love to try and witness this, but I am having trouble with trying to figure out how Reddit works.
Would some of y’all post highlights for those of us dinosaur FReepers who looked at that link, myself included, and thought “I have no idea” -— and there’s not nearly enough time to learn this thing.
THANKS!!!
What’s the link to follow the presentation of questions and receipt of answers?
The_Donald moderators take no prisoners. I’ve spent hours reading their site, and have yet to come upon one single solitary leftist post. Haha.
One little insight that may be useful. The meme of the moment on The_Donald is ‘tendies.’ It goes back to a real life California Bernie supporter. He was sure Bernie would win CA. When Hillary won, he succumbed to uncontrollable rage. His mother chose that moment to appear with a plate of fresh, hot chicken tenders. The Bernie fan knocked the plate out of her hands and sent the tenders flying.
So when you come upon the ‘tendie,’ meme, it just means out of control leftist rage. Fyi.
They already did this - http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2016/07/27/media-smears-reddits-pro-trump-community-intensify/
Went over there just awhile ago for a couple minutes .. ran into the term and wondered.
Poor mama tho, but completely unsurprising behavior from such as that ilk.
I would say it’s more of a Millennial/Gen X site than anything else. He’s pulling the Millennials attention away from the convention and directly addressing them. This has been getting set up since yesterday with his press conference and comments about Hillary’s and DNC’s e-mail problems keeping him in the news the whole time. The guy is a genius!

Bol!
whoops, I posted that wrong, but you can add -stream after reddit with any link to get this format :)
Thanks.
I think a lot of that is actually being curated/edited out of the official AMA thread, isn’t it?
Read my #31
lol actually I think you’re right. I haven’t viewed an AMA in over a year, I’ll be honest in saying I don’t use reddit for much other than dev/programming info.
Me neither, but I think this is the actual thread:

Yep, I’m using this http://reddit-stream.com/comments/4uxdbn/
I rarely view that site, because the layout is cluttered and confusing. However, I did notice one thing; Reddit’s like to cuss- a lot!
Boy, that sure says more than they'd like ;o)
