NW FL does have some niiiiiice beaches. I love being close to the ocean but the tourists are what have kept me from wanting to make the coast a permanent home. Just can’t put up with them.

Now that I’ve been on this farm for several years, I ruined. Green acres is the place to be. LOL

Eglin is why Dad moved to FL years ago. He retired as an aeronautical engineer up here and moved there to do consulting work. He stayed there until he passed away last year. Just loved it.
