I lugged around an M-16 for 22 years. Never thought I’d ever have need to pick one up again after I left the Army. My “government” once again convinced me two weeks ago that I needed one (AR-15). It’s been a while, baby.

They can have my 81 mm mortar tube when they pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Me too, I just a few years ago bought my first AR-15 after having lugged and shot the M-16 decades ago.

I can still put 5 shots into a 2" circle at 100 yards with iron sights, pretty good for an old guy.

You are not alone in seeing the need for a AR.
