I am grateful he didn’t win for multiple reasons.
1. He’s ineligible
2. He doesn’t have the skills to run this country. Watching Trump this a.m. talking about his reforms for the VA was a beautiful thing - an executive who knows what he’s doing taking charge and putting in place policies that will actually hold people accountable and get things fixed.
3. Ted has personality problems - people end up not liking him and this will follow him throughout life - as it already has.
I also suspect that Trump believes that as president he will be able to fire and/or severely punish any bureaucrat that attempts to thwart his agenda. He will need to be able to do that if he is to effectively implement his policies.
