No...that is Ted’s cop out. They claim because Trump made statements that maybe he would consider a third party run if they took delegates from him that those words voided the pledge. In fact words cannot void a pledge. Cruz would have had to won (or any other candidate) and Trump would have refused to support or endorse for that to be voided.

It is the weasel words of the lawyers....always looking for a way out. Depends on what the meaning of is is

It’s similar to a party to a contract suing the other party because they think they may breach the contract. That never flies - there must be an actual breach, not just the anticipation of one. Ted Cruz is an anchor headed straight for Davy Jones’ locker. Why some still stubbornly cling to him as he drags them to the bottom is beyond me.
