Instead of letting them get out in front of it, spinning it, lying it, and obfuscating.
Uhmmm .. how do you go about 'getting out in front of' things to be released if you've no idea what they'll be ?
Of course the venal clinton/dnc bastards know what they're guilty of, but at this point they likely have no idea which of those crimes Assange et al have gotten hold of.
Hence, they'd risk 'getting out in front of' something of which Wiki has no clue, while being blindsided from a different direction.
