I agree. They are very pleaseant and friendly people. I’m glad to call the ones I know a friend.
To borrow from Jewish terminology again, a lot of them are “mensches.” They care about what should be cared about. I have been far more ill used by some people who called themselves Christian or at least religious in a Western sense, than by people of Indian background. The latter have sometimes met me skeptically at first, but then sooner or later we warmed up to one another.
