hm, reading your post, it occurred to me why Ted may have taken that plane ride on AF-1 with Obama,Jarrett, and Moochelle.
Maybe the deal was to end any FBI probe if he would cause trouble at the RNC Convention.
Another poster last night mentioned he got a $ payoff as well.
Seems a lot of Obama Admin. business is conducted on planes, right?

Just seems odd that NE would drop the probe so quickly. Unless FBI told them to do so.

Bush along with Pappy Bush, rehabilitated Bill Clinton after the 2004 Indonesian tsunami; this made possible the rise of the Clinton Foundation and new speaking fees; when Nancy Reagan died, we saw a picture of George W. Bush hugging Hillary Clinton aboard an aircraft.
We also know Ted is a Bushie, a ringer put in by them to corral the conservatives for Jeb Bush to make his Presidential run for 2016.
Bush = Clinton
Cruz = Bush
Therefore, Cruz = Clinton
Cruz has been on the #NeverTrump side since January, after coasting behind Trump for months, as Trump took the political headwinds for him.
So, it is possible that Clinton Foundation cash found its way to Ted on AF-1.
After all, Ted knew he would be a pariah after he tried to blow up the Convention,he will be marginalized in the Senate for the next two years and most likely not re-elected, and Heidi may have her contract bought out by Goldman Sachs, as she will be radioactive to clients(hat tip to Lame Cherry for that idea), so Ted is going to need a lot of cash while he dreams up his next scam to fleece the true believers.
