Very cool. The movie was excellent but reading the book gave me chills on a hot summer day. Visitors to D.C. are still visiting the steps in Georgetown.

Back in the 60s my buddies an I would park on the street on the top of those stairs and go to the clubs on the street at the bottom. Getting back to the car was sometimes very interesting. On a side note the building on the left in picture used to be a streetcar barn.
