Thanking his volunteers in Cleveland a day after the Republican National Convention wrapped, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump today slammed Ted Cruz's Wednesday night speech and said he “will not accept” if the Texas senator ever decides to endorse him.

"He'll come and endorse over the next little while. It's because he has no choice," Trump said. "But I don't want his endorsement. What difference does it make?"

"Ted, just stay home, relax, enjoy yourself," Trump.

Please tell me you didn’t interpret that Trump Needs To award as an “insult.” Surely no one outside of Obama has an ego that massive and that fragile.

You said: “Congratulations. You are the 100,002 th Freeper, who used the words “Trump needs to...”. You win the “Have a little perspective about your talents as a political consultant” 2nd prize. Two weekend nights in South Chicago. The 1st prize winner will be there for one weekend. Enjoy your weekend night in South Chicago.”

Yup, I’d say that is snarky and an insult, which I’m sure was your intent. How else is one to interpret “Have a little perspective about your talents as a political consultant?” If you try to pass it off as sarcasm you need to go back to school, because in English 101 sarcasm is simply an “insult with flavor.” Hell, even a basic definition in Webster’s equates sarcasm with derision and ridicule. Are not derision and ridicule insults?

Do not direct any more posts to me.

You take that award—which I did not create—far too seriously. You already challenged me on it, and I explained what it was about: fun.

Try dialing it back a notch. Not everything is life and death. Trump gets thousands upon thousands of unsolicited pieces of advice daily. Someone on this site thought it would be fun to give out awards to the self styled pundits. Neither that party nor myself meant the award to be anywhere near as serious as you’ve tried to make it out to be.

Lighten up.
