Fear is a powerful instinct. Fear is so potent, and the innate drive to protect ones self from harm is so overpowering, that it can override almost every other instinct, including those related to intellect and judgment.
Which is why Donald Trump desperately wants to frighten you.
The obvious problem with the Republican presidential nominees convention speech last night is that it was less a speech and more a series of strung together scary falsehoods.
[Snip]
Trump wants you to be afraid of criminals. And immigrants. And Democrats. And refugees. And government regulations. And quite possibly the monster that could be hiding under your bed.
In fact, as far as the Republican presidential candidate is concerned, the United States is already a dystopian hellscape, where the sun no longer shines, where few can experience joy, and where all hope is lost.
But dont worry, Donald J. Trump can make America great again.
Just dont ask him how.

the murdered cops were a fantasy,Actually as BBS this morning's fact checker stated, the cop murders aren't that bad, we could have/accepot another 20 or so to really have a problem.

I know he’ll have bigger problems to deal with, but I hope when he’s President, he puts the media in their place. Actually, that’s not too small of a problem, as they have been driving a lying narrative for years and acting as if they are unbiased and holding people accountable, when they’ve been the biggest shills for lies from the left.

MSNBC, please, please continue to ridicule and scorn the voters of the USA. Every word is a confirmation of what Trump said.

the US media is the department of propaganda of the demokkkrat/rino party.
If they spouted crap like this about obama
his following would burn msnbc to the ground.

Why are all of these anti-Trump articles being posted? If we cant have posters on here who are anti-Trump, then why post so many anti-Trump articles?
That's a good question.
First, welcome to FR. Second, being relatively new you may not be familiar with the practice of FReepers posting articles which on the surface could certainly be construed as being anti-conservative in their perspective and as we can see today after the convention, anti-Trump.
Just like our military and intel services would monitor enemy radio broadcasts during World War II to see what William Joyce (aka 'Lord Haw Haw') in Nazi Germany was yammering about, ditto for Iva Ikuko Toguri D'Aquino (aka Tokyo Rose) in the Pacific, so too do FReepers monitor the libtard media to report back on how they're all freaking out.
NO FReeper endorses the views and opinions of the liberal crap weasels at the New York Times, Washington Compost, LA Slimes, etc., but it's good to see how President-elect Trump is rattling their cages and turning them all into blobs of quivering jelly. That's a good thing.
Don't worry about the credentials of FReepers posting such threads, you may see the occasional #nevertrumper /#iwantedcwuzinstead popping up with their infantile manure, but they can be safely ignored, the famed *FR ZOT CANNON* will get them soon enough.
Hope this helps.

It instructive to know what Hillary’s allies in the press are stating. How can you counter it, if your not informed.

I think it is important to know what the messaging is coming out of the mainstream outlets, especially because it is obviously coordinated.

I take this as a good sign. Their afraid Trump will win. Romney they had no fear of. He was a cream puff.

They're posted so we can see how the other half thinks and then mock them lousy. Standard practice here at FR.
Also, standard practice here not to read the articles excerpted but post away no matter how incorrectly we assume the contents to be. Welcome!

I think it is important to know what the messaging is coming out of the mainstream outlets, especially because it is obviously coordinated. It could be coordinated, but actually it's quite predictable. If all the media is basically left wing cheerleaders who support Hillary and Obama, then how can they admit the utter failures over the last 7 years? Thus anyone attacking their team has got to be wrong, negative, dark, etc.

I havent seen the left get this unhinged since Reagan was nominated.
That's what it reminds me of too; for those of us of an age to remember the 1980 campaign, the left was making the same apocalyptic claims; Reagan would get us into a war, didn't know what he was doing, was uninformed, blah blah blah. Same old same old.
