Fear is a powerful instinct. Fear is so potent, and the innate drive to protect ones self from harm is so overpowering, that it can override almost every other instinct, including those related to intellect and judgment.
Which is why Donald Trump desperately wants to frighten you.
The obvious problem with the Republican presidential nominees convention speech last night is that it was less a speech and more a series of strung together scary falsehoods.
[Snip]
Trump wants you to be afraid of criminals. And immigrants. And Democrats. And refugees. And government regulations. And quite possibly the monster that could be hiding under your bed.
In fact, as far as the Republican presidential candidate is concerned, the United States is already a dystopian hellscape, where the sun no longer shines, where few can experience joy, and where all hope is lost.
But dont worry, Donald J. Trump can make America great again.
Just dont ask him how.

Maybe we should have a new category “Negative Trump Articles.”
Hide under the bed? That’s projection. These dummies have been under the bed for years. It’s been so long since they’ve heard a straight shooter, they don’t know what to call a new, coming reality.
This drumbeat of the prigs is going to only get worse as DJT begins to get even more widespread attention and draw ever more and more faithful to the notion that we don’t have to hide under the bed with the prigs. (Autocorrect changes prog to prig I rather like that feature.)
I dont think much of Frank Luntzs focus groups, but last night, not a single undecided was going to vote for Hillary after the RNC Convention - not a single one.
Those weren’t undecided. The vast number I heard speak were never trumpets, and even then a couple said they would vote for him. Luntz got Donaled, because The Donald speaks to the heart of people and even these people get it....
Also the one calling him a racist should be sent back to the country of her ancestors to see what real racism is all about..
After all Obama likes to talk about “ what tribe” you are from so she can go visit them, and see how they kill each other off on a routine basis with no “ Pigs” to protect someone like her from being able to speak her distorted mind.
Yes, hiding under the bed is the Trump way. It is very evident by looking at the New York skyline. Liberals need straight jackets.
Only one thing hiding under my bed. And it pumps.
“. . . finally, someone (DONALD J. TRUMP) had the balls to
call to our attention & explode the Obama boil festering
on America’s butt for the last 7+ years. The stench of
putrid corruption has engulfed, Obama, Hillary, the
Democrats/Libs/Progs and the media enablers.”
Steven hides under the bed when he hears something be doesn’t like. Real men stand up to a challenge but cowards like Steven bend over and grab their ankles. It’s his natural response to just about everything.
Are you really asking such a daft question?
C’mon, either your playing dumb or you need to spend more time understanding how this works.
No one is posting anti-Trump screeds of their own, rather, they are sharing what the moonbats in the media are spewing, big difference, learn it.
Afraid?
That reminds me of the joke.
Someone asks a guy carrying a gun, “Why do you have that big gun on your hip? What are you afraid of?”
The man replied, “Not a damn thing.”
The unarmed have to ignore all threats. They HAVE to pretend they don’t exist because once they admit threats exist they realize how nekid they are and they are terrified.
I never said that. Reread my posts.
Funny, I didn’t get any sense of fear coming from that convention center crowd. Watching Trump’s speech certainly didn’t fill me with fear. It gave me a sense of hope that maybe, just maybe somebody finally gets it. Somebody finally understands what life is like in flyover country. Nope, no fear here.
So, THAT’S the market for Hillary’s used granny panties...
