Donald Trump needed to give the speech of his lifehe did that, and much more. He laid out an inspiring American Manifesto for our troubled times.
And he did it his way.
Not surprisingly, from start to finish, it is muscular and bold, leavened only by appeals to racial harmony and pledges of compassion for all. It offers a prominent nod to Bernie Sanders supporters in a bid to get some to jump the Democratic ship.

Far be it for me to wee wee on the high at the New York Post, but what are they smokin'?
Donald Trumps RNC address could mark the start of an American revival It is going to take much more than a speech to get Mr. Trump's idea's (of which I endose 100%) in motion.
The "death grip" both the Democans and Republicrats have on "the process" will prove more formidable than Mr. Trumps run, I fear.
Fool me once shame on you ... fool me twice shame on me.
And trust me I look back and see, through the years of drinking at the Republicrat trough, I am exercising enough shame for generations to come.

Not directed at you, I get your joke,
but Where the hell did that come from, all the media immediately started calling it a Dark speech as soon as it ended. I thought he was very inclusive and positive for all Americans as long as you were not Hillary Clinton or her supporters... There were all sorts of signs waiving including Women, Veterans, Latinos and Hispanics for Trump among others.
We don't have cable so over the air choices were ABC, CBS or NBC... Commentators were openly mocking Trump and Republicans and not really covering the convention or speakers at times. ABC and CBS were the worst, we watched NBC most (only last 2 nights) because it seemed to be the best coverage and commentators kept their opinions to themselves after coverage started.

Easy. That speech was VERY dark for criminals and their enablers.
Coming soon: the convention for criminals and their enablers. Should be a hoot.

“But it was so dark”
And “dystopian”. Very interesting that libs on several channels used the same words. Just a coincidence l’m sure.

People hate the press. Both Left and Right know they lie.
He calls them out and calls them crooked.
That is powerful.

Trump, like Reagan, speaks directly to the American people. He doesn’t need the MSM and the elites and insiders opposing him validates his message.
Bush’s not there? That’s a favor. Cruz? Favor.
Trump gave a great speech and we are on a roll!
To: AzNASCARfan
The Mediascum operates from circulated talking points. Hillary/Podesta/MediaMatters types circulated all the needed talking points in advance. The “churnalists” on the networks didn’t even need to hear the speech, they knew what to say.

Good one! Trump and friends can utterly destroy Shrillary’s “experience” — flip it from a positive to a negative, as Trump is already doing so well.

It was dark alright, for Clinton and her media enablers.
Trump has made clear he’s going right past them directly to Americans. Dark times indeed for the leftists.
