Yes unfortunately it was a huge success. But you aren't going to win it in the election for a lot of reasons, including the two most important ones

1) Most people now lean left or are left socially and the next generation (mine) is even worse
2) The Republicans that do get elected as socially right really don't care..nothing but lip service

You want to win the culture war? You are going to have to do what the Dems did. Get conservatives into academia in mass - both collegiate and lower levels INCLUDING who decides the material, get conservatives into media positions in mass, get conservatives into hollywood in mass, etc. And get rid of all the tax benefits for having kids, which is encouraging people to have kids out of wedlock. In the meantime, the best chance you have at moving socially right in the near term is to get people economically independent. People that are economically independent are significantly more conservative in all aspects of their social life (look at the 80s when people felt great about their economic prospects), even if their political views lean/skew left socially and are less likely to vote for people like Clinton.
