Rudy is right. Cruz’s speech was a blatherfest. Halfway through Mr. GG2 turned to me and said “what is he even talking about?”
Once you forgive breaking one law, where do you stop? Punishment for law breakers is expensive. Prisons are expensive. But whatever EXISTING law proscribes for breaking immigration rules must be followed. I can not excuse immigration law breakers based on monetary reasons, inconvenience to family members, etc. I am sure bank robbers also have children and family who are terribly inconvenienced when the perp is found guilty and sent to prison.
Of course he did!
He signed a pledge, he broke his oath.
Why would I read page after page of meaningless words, useless explanations, when it is so simple and crystal clear
You make a promise, you keep it, simple as that.
The biggest problem is that Cruz was not the only one. We are seeing the Republican Party blowing itself up by the political elite within the party. The RINO’s who only care for themselves, their power in office, and the money the get from PAC’s and steal from us. This is the biggest reason for term limits and should be done immediately to not only to save the Republican Party, but to save our Country from all political elitists, both libtards and RINO’s.
You bring up good points, but my hope is that the politicians start addressing the Constitution. It’s been a taboo subject for far too long.
The problem with term limits is that it does not address factions; you can have one member replace the other and nothing changes.
We have to hold the to their Constitutional oaths.
They have controlled Washington for too long. I hope that Trump can clean this mess up...or at least lead us in the right direction.
Interesting, bookmark.
