To: nopardons

I don’t think I ever learned this in school. My dad, a preacher, taught useful things in the youth groups at his church back in the ‘50s and ‘60s. Things like this, Founding Fathers, Foxe’s Book of Martyrs, Robert’s Rules of Order, etc. Don’t recall it being covered in school, although it may have been.

I guess it depended on which state one went to school in.

It was touched on in 5th grade, but I do know that it was covered in more detail in 8th grade.

Sounds as though your father lead a very interesting youth group! :-)
