My original comment was about Peter Thiel speaking at the GOP convention.

And no, I'm not going to be "happy now" with a promise of allowing pastors to speak freely on political candidates without losing their tax exemptions. That would be a good thing, but it has to be proven to be more than just throwing evangelical conservatives a bone while otherwise surrendering to the left.

The GOP shouldn't pronounce the culture wars to be "fake," and abandon them to allow secular humanism to have its say and to dictate our lives down to the last detail, and to the point of criminalizing the Gospel as "hate speech," which is what the left is working towards, and continually making some progress on.
