Can’t believe I used to think the VP spot should go to Cruz (way in the very beginning). After hearing Pence speak last night, I got on my knees and thanked our good Lord that it was Pence in that spot and not Cruz. I like Mike! He is the perfect compliment to Trump and thank you Lord for sparing us a Ted Cruz VP.

I think a lot of us felt that way including Donald Trump. Over time though the weasel in Ted Cruz came shining through.

It was almost immediately apparent after Pence began speaking that Mike Pence is a Godly man - And Ted Cruz is not.
