Yup! Both Cruz and Kennedy are/were worthless turds, who have/had similar methods of operation, none of whch are exempliary.
47 years ago, July 18, 1969, Chappaquiddick happened.
That was a turning point for Ted. His best chances at becoming president sank with poor Mary Jo. Ted had a moment of inarticulation during a TV interview while preparing his presidential campaign in 1980. The reporter asked him, “Why do you want to become President of the United States?”.
That’s an appropriate question. Ted stumbled, and mumbled, but never did clearly answer it. Sometimes you don’t get muligans.
Comrade Ted K. kept his job in the Senate.
Lyin’ Ted C. won’t.
Not the right year, but Teddy Cruz just drove his car off the bridge with Donald Trump in the passanger seat.
Carter and Kennedy were both scumbuckets.
I hope he’s a better driver.
At least Cryin’ Ted abandoned his woman on the side of the road instead of underwater.
No Kennedy lost his bid because even democrats couldn’t be part of allowing a guy who left a woman to drown become president. Being adored senator for life was fine with them. Hilary might wish she’d kept her seat in NY, though today’s democrat is fine with her having let those embassy people to die the way she did
Cruz will never be adored by the GOP or voters
And Carter lost....
Edward “Ted” Kennedy really was a traitor to the United States. He secretly negotiated with the USSR for help to topple a Reagan presidency.
I wonder if ted had the permission of the dead Dallas cops family to use their 9 year old daughter as shamelessly as he used his own kids for political props
It was painful to watch and listening to his maudlin pandering using a child’s true lifelong tragic loss
Oh - and he had to give a shout out to Alton Sterlings family? ?
Good comparison.
God hardened Ted’s heart. He’s toast.
The Cruz speech was just pathetic
That’s all
Realizing on being booed that he is not going to be back a la Reagan in four years, mumbling, “but but buh buh...my father’s underwear, a hundred dollars, orphaned children...”
“There are so many similarities between the two men’s races.”
One difference. Of course I’m no Carter fan, but Carter’s famous line: “If Kennedy runs, I’ll whip his ass”.
I loved it - and Carter did, just to get whipped by Reagan.
I'm not sure he's done in Texas, but his national aspirations are over.
His ego caused so much static his brain never had a chance. Wonder if his sphincter actually let loose when he realized he had went from cheers to utter disdain....
