Cruz's rebuke ignited a hot scene around the senator as soon as he left the stage. People averted their eyes from Cruz and his wife as they walked with their security detail on the skybox level of boisterous Republicans.
On the donor suite level, people approached Cruz and insulted him, a source told CNN's Dana Bash. One state party chairman reacted so angrily that he had to be restrained.
Cruz, who has long sought the support of GOP megadonor Sheldon Adelson, was turned away when he tried to enter Adelson's suite.
Andy Abboud, a senior aide to the Las Vegas casino magnate, said Cruz was initially invited to come up to visit the Adelsons, but when he failed to endorse Trump the invitation was rescinded...

“Cruz, who has long sought the support of GOP megadonor Sheldon Adelson, was turned away when he tried to enter Adelson’s suite.”
I bet that put the wind up his flabby bureaucrat backside.
He might have thought he made a mistake at that point.
What trap? Cruz was one of the ones who demanded the pledge in the first place. Cruz trapped himself.
Good riddance to Cruz.
Encore! ENCORE!
Oh, wait...
Jeb, Rubio, Kasich and Cruz think they hurt Trump by not endorsing him.

Don’t forget Graham, Flake and McCain.
I just can not seem to remember the name of the runner up in the 1976 gop sweepstakes that was called all sorts of names for not backing the gop winner. I guess he must of killed his chances at ever being POTUS.
Same here. I have a lot of friends in Utah. Also I live in South dakota and one of the big founders of the nevertrump is a guy from South Dakota named Fisher. Pretty much anyone from those two states who supported Cruz I will campaign against.
This effin putz’s speech was a boring as eff.
I didn’t watch it live, but watched it on cspan online.
Had to skip to the end just to see the effer get booed from the stage.
Eff ted cruz.
Cruz was given a prime slot in the batting order - and whiffed.
Ronald Reagan gave us four years of Jimmy Carter.
He didn’t put aside his political needs for the good of the party.
Setting one’s self on fire is a great act.
It might even get Tead on a show like ‘Canada’s Got Talent!’.
Unfortunately when sending the DVD to them, someone’s going to have to admit,
“Yeah, pouring gasoline over his head and lighting himself on fire is a great act.
“Boffo actually.
“But he can only do it once.”
Cruz is nooooo Ronald Reagan.
Reagan got 1000+ delegates in 1976.
Dead effer cruzhole only got less than 500 in 2016.
Reagan united the party in his 1976 speech.
Ted kept his small niche cruzlim cult divided from America in his 2016 speech.
Reagan was cheered and delegates wondered if they voted for the wrong guy in 1976.
tedhole was booed both in the arena and backstage.
As a cruznadian, you should be crying because your guy just committed cruzicide.
A number of commentators are playing a little loose with the facts.
Reagan did not endorse Ford at the convention, but his short speech after he lost was very gentlemanly and gracious. Reagan did later endorse Ford, as can be seen in this ad by Reagan:

I only wish someone is beside you with a rubber mallet so that they can boink you in the head next time you compare Cruz to Reagan. It’s the only appropriate response.
That as it may be, it certainly helped Carter eke out a narrow victory that year.
We can only hope history doesn’t repeat itself.
Instead of Booze Cruise
Booed Cruz
When it was obvious Trump was the winner, Cruz should have immediately supported Trump.
Now that we know the real Cruz, I'm not only supporting Trump, but glad he won.
At least now I won't have to hold my nose when voting for Trump, thanks to Cruz's childish idiocy.
Did he get up on stage and show his *SS like Teddy did?
