I thought that Princeton roommate who loathes Ted was just some angry liberal, but now I see that the more you know Ted the more you loathe him, ha ha.
It was not like that. I remembered him, but it was not until he started working for GWB that a high school friend said, “Do you,remember that guy........?
We were both at very small private schools and none of us were great players and not many could have made it on a big public high school team.
In that sense, Cruz was good, not great, but was that guy who talked trash and took it a little too far in a manner where it seemed he was trying to provoke opposing players.
We would all commit fouls, but he was that guy who would whine to the ref if anyone as much as breathed on him.
Before and after games, both teams would socialize, check out the girls from the other school and may end up at the same parties on a weekend.
But neither me not my high school friends remember him taking part.
Cruz tried to make the people watching on TV that it was only the New Yorkers booing. When in fact even some Texans were booing.
He also tried to get forgiveness from the New Yorkers for his “New York values” statement. It didn’t work so he slammed them.
Cruz squandered a golden opportunity to show true patriotism and unite the party. A huge boner.

That’s what I read on reddit. I think Hillary’s been funding never Trump from the start so it’s not surprising. But it’s quite Ironic coming from her.

I’m not sure I understand the huge dismay at the “vote your conscience” statement by Cruz. Also his statements on vote for who will stand for freedom and defend the Constitution. It sure as heck isn’t Hillary.
It would be nice if EVERYONE voted their conscience, taking into account that the only two people that have a chance at becoming president are Clinton and Trump. Of course the democrats don’t need to vote their conscience - they can just vote for who offers them the most freebies. (Or in the worst case - two packs of cigarettes to get on the bus to go to the voting station.)

He broke his word about endorsing Trump. That’s all that mattered here.
It was a reference to his attempt to entice the RNC Delegates to dishonor their obligation to vote Trump.
It was correctly perceived as an insult and code for the ‘Never Trump’ retards out there.

I always had bad vibes about the guy, my husband not so much, he thought the guy was “real” but now, of course, has a totally different sentiment toward Cruz.

1) He **knows** that the Founders would have never considered him to be a natural born citizen but he ran anyway. He has little regard for the Constitution and conservative traditions that he claims to love.
2) His voice and his sing song delivery of his speeches just grate on my nerves.

Wallace wasn’t on the panel I was watching. But evidently it’s a common joke
they tell about Cruz because I googled the phrase and it’s been bantered around since 2015.
A google search brings up a plethora of folks who have used the line.
Oddly Wallace was on the panel I was watching and it was a pretty funny moment. Yes it is a common phrase.
