One person here, on some thread, speculated that there may be a molestation issue.
I cannot make that sort of speculation, but I still wonder why a daughter at that age is not idolizing dad. There is SOME form of extremely serious dysfunction at work.
When I first saw this video on youtube, which was a while back, I thought the same thing.
Her response of going ow, ow, ow as he moved in for the kiss made me think something isn’t right there. But I don’t want to think that, I really don’t, even though I can’t stand the guy, that is really the worst thing.
I thought about whether or not to mention this video on FR, but I decided not to. I ended up seeing it mentioned here by someone else eventually.
What I thought to myself was if this was my daughter, and I was running for president and she treated me this way in public or private, I would end my run for president immediately, because I have much more important concerns with my family that must be tended to right now.
That’s just me, I’m not speaking for Cruz, but if this happened to me, it would bother me tremendously.

“Spanking” often morphs into beating. And people can deceive themselves and silence their conscience because beating is “biblical.”
