Great speech by Mike Pence. Very good choice by the Donald.....;)
As a bonus, presumptive VP Pence also strongly resembles (as others here have noticed) my favorite character from my favorite Saturday morning cartoon ‘Johnny Quest’:

Poor Pence. He wasn’t my pick, but my goodness, F. Chuck Todd was right when he said that he shouldn’t have been put on the same night as Cruz. All the coverage is about Cruz.
CNN had a focus group with undecided Republicans Independents. No one there said they would be more likely to support Cruz after what he did. Unfortunately, not one person thought Pence made them more likely to vote for Trump. They liked Pence, though. They came away like him more. They just didn’t think he did anything to help Trump. He didn’t hurt him. He just left their feelings neutral.
I thought Pence did a good job. Newt came out after Cruz and gave a good speech. I wonder if someone who is an attack dog like Newt or Christie (who was fuming when interviewed by CNN and went after Cruz) coming out could have garnered more attention. I don’t know. Pence is just a humble, more soft spoken, nice guy.
