So, if Trump manages to pull us back from the edge, will you THEN admit you've been talking out of your hat "from the beginning?"
YES! I would be glad to be wrong. You can't trust a snake Dem and he has been one all his life. I changed my mind about abortion when I was 18. I changed much when I was born again, but I'm 65 now and have seen much. I'm voting for Trump because it's a binary election, as almost all are. I'm not fooled about 3rd party's or Libertarian crap. But many here have bet the farm on a guy that was a registered Dem right before he threw his hat in the ring. His own children can't even vote for him because they forgot to re-register as Repubs. It's easy to follow the money and see his contributions to Obama and Hillary, among the Chuck Schumer "investments". When you speak about giving to both parties to curry favor for business, does that really show your dedication to the country in a patriotic way? Most of us here on FR used to feel like conservatism was a type of religion and Dems were from hell. Could any one of us justify voting for someone that supported banning guns or killing babies? If you support Dems, you get the whole enchilada. Open borders, burning flags, removing God from the culture, dead babies, gay marriage, Castro and Putin love, and of course never ending gun control. Justifying support saying its good for business doesn't help the soldiers betrayal that ALWAYS goes on in a Dem controlled environment.
It's a small price to pay for me to be humbled and wrong if Trump turns out to be the real deal. I just didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday. Changing you spots take much longer than a year or two. A real conservative has to have it deep down in their DNA because right off the bat you will be challenged to water it down and stray off the farm. Going along to get along for a conservative just means the Dems still run the place. Just like Dubya did with "comprehensive immigration reform". You just end up with no fence and amnesty anyway.
