Yeah, because of the over emphasis on tits. Which is part of the reason that we husbands and SO's should help make the right call, which is "get rid of all the susceptible tissue!".
"My wife had a single mastectomy in 1996. She did okay until she developed cancer in the other in 2009 and had another mastectomy. Now she is battling non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Still, she has done well for 20 years.
Yeah, but if she had had the double the first time, the second couldn't have developed. I don't know if the lymphoma might be related to the breast cancer. With my mom, the BC had spread to her skin. They tried radiation (electron beam), but that didn't work. The doctors felt that at her age, chemo was as likely to kill her as the cancer.

It seems like an epidemic.Our niece is dying from breast cancer which spread to her bones and liver.She is 29.She is married with a 5 year old little girl.Very sad.
