I agree. How refreshing to have a republican who doesn’t point fingers, apologize or fire a staffer every time the media tries to make him look bad. What a great president he will be!
Just curious: You do know he’s not saying “bigly”, right?
My wife and brother both thought he was saying that too until I told them what he’s really saying is “big league”.
If the “bigly” comment was just another case of humor going over my head, sorry :-), it’s just that it bothers me that so many people really think that he would use a word like “bigly”. It bothered me when Bush would call himself a decider instead of decision maker, and say strategery instead of strategy, or nucular instead of nuclear. Or when Obama visited almost all 57 states.
Trump is informal and off the cuff, uses slang, Yiddish, even slightly off color language, but he’s not ignorant and he doesn’t say bigly, thank God.
Just wanted to get that off my chest.
I had no idea that’s what he was saying. Of course, having hearing aids in both ears doesn’t help much sometimes.
