There is great stigma to openly supporting Trump. And Trump hasn’t helped. While I believe he’s capable, and will try to hold his end of the bargain, some of his comments are really tough to defend, so I don’t. I just accept that everyone says some off the wall stuff sometimes.

I think the polls will have a hard time tracking people that will vote Trump, but won’t admit it.

Yes, but isn't it refreshing that there is a candidate that will say what's on his mind and mean it and even double down on it? I may not agree with how he says some things, but I'm glad he doesn't back down and actually gives it right back. Won't it be great to have a CIC like that?

Trump understands that anything he says in public is going to be broadcast to a wide audience. The MSM hates him, but they know he’s good for ratings and will have reporters covering him like a blanket. Trump is certainly bombastic and egotistical, but I think many of his “controversial” statements are calculated for public consumption and effect. He plays the media game better than any American in public life so the next time he says something off the wall it may be on purpose and is not the result of a spur of the moment thought.
