Judging by how my husband had to live his life to get and keep T.S. (and higher) clearances for government contract work, I’m not even sure Trump could get a clearance. His wife is from a Communist country, and I know that would’ve ended DH’s career. It’s all very confusing.

Yeah. I remember if your spouse was from a communist country, you probably would get your clearance pulled.

Nah, my friend’s ex is a German, he worked in intel for our government and got very high up - they just did a complete sweep on her and her entire family.

Candidates for President of the United States are not required to qualify for security clearances. The Constitutional criteria is age 35 and a natural born citizen.
