Sadly, this was supposed to be a night for Pence and Trump and moving forward vs Hillary and the Dems. Instead, a great deal of discussion in the media tonight and likely for several days will be about Cruz. Not in the good way they talked about Reagan after the 1976 convention. Cruz had a chance to really support the ticket and position himself within the party for the future. He was unable to do the former, and the latter is in jeopardy. Not what I wanted to see tonight.
