I was taught that to be considered an NBC your Parents had to be American Citizens. I never thought to ask if those same Parents could be Naturalized versus Citizens at Birth.

I’m not arguing the point since it is a useless endeavor.

I can answer your query, that you've never asked....it does NOT matter whether the parent was born her or naturalized...as long as BOTH were American Citizens AT THE TIME OF THE CHILD'S BIRTH ! :-)

Just ask me, I know this stuff cold and was posting about it when Obama was running in the presidential primaries, so this is nothing "new" for me to post.

Not only do I know this stuff from school days, but I personally know someone who became a naturalized citizen PRIOR to the birth of his child and what our government gave him as study guides and what the teachers of the classes told those who were studying to become citizens.
