I think I remember some commie on the podium at the Dem convention in ‘68.
Mayor Daley was calling him a fakir and others were booing.
Can’t remember his name.
That was Sen. Abraham Ribicoff from Connecticut.
Daley later claimed he called Ribicoff a “faker” but it looked like he called him something else.
