My midwestern newspaper isn’t much better, so I cancelled.
They called me up, asked me why: “Because you think George Will and Kathlene Parker are conservatives, and I’m tired of Leo Pitts calling anyone who disagrees with him a ‘racist’.”

Absolutely amazing, the propaganda spewed out by the so called ‘press’ these days. Worse, there are millions of brain dead idiots out there that just gobble it up as the truth.
They’re correct here. It’s everyone’s problem and threat. If these people will shoot cops in a manner such as this, they’re capable of doing anything to anyone. Just the fact they were not even targeting this guy for arrest or anything. This guy went hunting. From my perspective the Baton Rouge and Dallas suspects are every bit as radical as those in radical Islam. If they’d had a car bomb all set to go, they would have used that too.

The San Jose Mercury has always been one of the most left newspapers in the country, starting with its fraudulent story that the CIA introduced Cocaine into LA in the early 90’s.
The shooter in Baton rouge did NOT use an AR-15. It was a totally different, semi-automatic rifle.
The only AR-15 I ever saw was in Cambodia. It belonged to the governor of a province who was driving a friend and myself out to the boondocks to interview refugees who had escaped from Khmer Rouge prison camps.
The San Jose Mercury writers wouldn’t know an AR 15 from and SKS to a Remington 15 LR, ramrod fed rifle.
Any tears their shed over murdered police officers is purely for show. They are heartless leftists. All they need now is a communist party to join to complete their Marxist ideological circle.

Both shooters were affiliated with Nation of Islam which $upports Black Panthers (Mississippi party and Texas party), which $upports Black Lives Matter and Black Riders Liberation Party and African American Defense League (and in there somewhere is a group called the New Freedom Group)
