I find it hard to believe that Trump knew exactly what Cruz would say because Cruz went 13 mins over his allotted time.

I’ve heard different versions but one was, supposedly from an insider, that Trump was there to accept Cruz’s pseudo endorsement.

I don’t know either. Rush today said Trump knew ahead of time (about Cruz’ non-endorsement), yet all the talking heads on FNC and CNN last night said Trump and his family did NOT know what Ted was going to say. The talking heads were all incredulous that a presidential candidate had not seen all the speeches that were to be given at the convention.

Well, he said on his Twitter feed "I saw his speech two hours early but let him speak anyway. No big deal!"

As far as going over 13 mins., maybe he just slowed it down to savor every minute of his UNendorsement.
